• Dr. Ahmad is certified by the American board of Radiology as well as Interventional Radiology. He completed his residency form State University of New York at Buffalo, fellowship in Interventional Radiology also from State University of New York at Buffalo.
  
  
• Dr. Ahmad has been on the faculty of Indiana University, Indianapolis, and University of Pittsburgh. He served as director of Interventional Radiology, and Interm Chairman of Radiology at Shadyside Hospital. In recognition of his teaching and clinical services, Society of Interventional Radiology awarded him Fellowship of of the society.
  
  
• Dr. Ahmad specialized in non-surgical image guided treatment of a number of medical conditions. He is an expert in treating venous disorders with special interest in treating varicose veins using non-surgical techniques.
